Customer Reviews

Worth paying a bit more for this but works great and great quality build.

Excellent bit of kit. So much better than the 7 ports USB hub I bought with the individual switches and blue LEDS. Had no end of problems with that one. Ports not working and causing errors at bootup.

These Aukeys powered USB 3.0 and charging hubs are good

Sometimes unpowered USB hubs are not powerful enough. I found this out when plugging in a webcam camera and microphone which worked only intermittently. I purchased two of these Aukey powered hubs (one for my computer and one for my wife) and we have had no problems with webcams or plugged in hard disks. The hubs provide plenty of USB 3.0 ports and three charging ports. If I have a criticism it relates to the very small green light which indicates the hub is powered – it should be a bit bigger and secondly, putting the on-off switch on the back of the hub makes switching on and off more awkward but these are relatively minor points. Overall a decent product.

Nice expandability

It’s a really nice product for added USB connections and I particularly like the faster charging feature on two ports. Would recommend making it more compact, removing the power brick, however this isn’t much of an issue. I wouldnt recommend for it to directly be in sight on your desk due to the place that the cables come out, sticking it under your desk or behind your PC is a good cable management method.

A Pretty Good USB 3.0 Hub

So far this USB 3.0 hub has been great. I’ve had flash drives plugged into all 7 ports and each device was accessible to me.

Five Stars

After a major power surge my IT was sat in ruins so I went out and got the latest technology….Windows 10….nice PC and screen but none of my USB devices seemed to want to fire up. Obviously Windows 10 has numerous teething problems but with effort the PC could see some not others, give it a coule of days and things changed.

great value

works as expected. pluged into my computer,..via usb3 port, win10 found it once I had presssed the “on” button ( something you have to do each time you start your computer…but not a problem) plugged in memory stick, found it and has worked well since.

So neat but yet so far

I concur with most of the reviews. USB slots are upside down, power sockets are very difficult to insert and remove plugs, power sockets to not connect to host computer. Hard drives will continued to spin when host computer turned off. If they have sorted these issues or this would easily have been a 6 star review

Good but needs a little improvement

have bought a number of powered and unpowered USB hubs and so far all have managed to disappoint me. This one has allowed me to connect external HDDs to my Mac. Couple of discpnnection issues but that was caused by the drive going to sleep rather than the hub. Also comes in useful for when my iPhone needs a quick charge
